Hockey Skills International was founded by Gustav Wallner and Ansis Straupe Jul 2011. Their purpose was to create a company that would provide the best trainng available for hockey players by challengeing the players mental, physicall and game sense abilities. With combinationa of mental training and individual skill development hockey skills international is the only hockey training company that provides wholeness in their training.
Born in Sweden, and has worked as a professional hockey coach since 2001 and started his coaching career in Anchorage, Alaska where he worked for Acceleration Alaska teaching hockey players how to get faster as well as other athletes.
Gustav is specialized in personal (private) hockey training and has been hired by professional NHL players as Scott Gomez. Matt Carle, Joey Crab, Nate Thompson, and Brandon Dubinsky and other future NHL players.
With combination of teaching hockey skills, physical training and knowledge in NLP, Hypnosis and TLT Gustav is teaching the athletes from the inside out.
Ansis Straupe
Born in Latvia and is specialized in skating and has worked in Russia, Sweden and Latvia. Is currently working with selected hockey players in Riga and is known for his high intensity and ability to demonstrate at a all-star NHL level of performance. Is a true inspiration to hockey players and to other coaches.
